- Flight Training -
Helicopters Otago Ltd is a great place to start your aviation experience. Training from our Taieri Airfield base, we are able to provide the total training experience. Taieri Airfield is an uncontrolled airfield with low aircraft volumes, which allows our students to gain confidence in a safe environment. The Dunedin International Airport is situated approximately 15 kilometres to the South, and this provides experience when operating in controlled airspace. We can provide training on a wide scale, from an introductory flight (Hands On Trial Flight) to a private or commercial helicopter licence. Our instructors can also help you obtain additional rating such as, instructors, sling, and type ratings in a wide variety of helicopters.
